ADDP 3.1 Offensive Support

This philosophical level publication describes the application of joint and combined offensive support across the continuum of warfighting. The contents include a doctrinal framework to coordinate, execute and deconflict joint offensive support, guidance on interoperability with combined and coalition forces and the necessary architecture to employ offensive support within a joint arena. O2C provided the lead author for this publication.


ADDP 3.1 Joint Fire Support

This philosophical level publication describes the application of joint and combined fires across the continuum of warfighting. The contents include a framework for the employment and application of joint fire support including coordinating, deconflicting and executing joint fire support assets. This publication supersedes ADDP 3.1 Offensive Support. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADFP 3.1.1 Offensive Support Procedures

This application level publication describes the joint techniques and procedures of offensive support across the continuum of warfighting. The contents include the contribution, planning, and coordination needed between the components of a joint force to enable the successful execution of offensive support, and guidance on interoperability with combined and coalition forces. O2C provided the lead author for this publication.


ADFP 3.1.1 Joint Fire Support Procedures

This application level publication describes the joint techniques and procedures of fire support across the continuum of warfighting. The contents include the concept of joint fire support; responsibilities and procedures; maritime fire support, land fire support and offensive air support; and laser operations. This publication supersedes ADFP 3.1.1 Offensive Support Procedures. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.5 Electronic Warfare

This philosophical level publication describes the nature and scope of joint and combined electronic warfare procedures used at the operational and tactical level in support of ADF operations. The contents include a doctrinal framework to coordinate, execute and deconflict electronic warfare, guidance on interoperability with combined and coalition forces, and the necessary architecture to employ electronic warfare within the joint arena. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.5 Electronic Warfare Edition 2

This publication provides application and procedural doctrine on Electronic Warfare (EW). The publication describes the nature and scope of joint and combined EW used from the strategic to the tactical level in support of ADF operations. This publication aims to inform commanders and other key personnel about the use of EW, assist with the strategic and operational planning, command and coordination of EW, and contribute to ADF education and training. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.6 Joint Personnel Recovery

This philosophical level publication supersedes the first edition and describes joint personnel recovery (JPR). The publication provides broad guidance on the nature and scope of JPR within the ADF and is designed to inform the operational planning, command and coordination of JPR. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.9 Airborne Operations Edition 2

This publication provides philosophical doctrine on airborne operations for use by commanders, staff and key personnel. The publication provides broad guidance on the nature and scope of airborne operations within the ADF and is designed to inform the strategic and operational planning, command and coordination airborne operations. It also informs ADF education and training. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADFP 3.9.1 Airborne Operations Procedures Edition 2

This publication provides procedural doctrine to commanders, staff and key personnel. The publication provides the detailed planning considerations and procedures for the planning, preparation and conduct of ADF airborne operations. The publication is designed to shape the thinking of those personnel responsible for the tactical planning and coordination of airborne operations and for key personnel who have responsibility for the conduct of airborne operations. It also informs ADF education and training. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.13 Information Operations Edition 2

This philosophical level publication describes the nature and scope of joint information operations activities employed at the operational and tactical level in support of ADF operations. The contents include an outline of responsibilities for information operations, a planning construct and a doctrinal framework to coordinate, execute and deconflict information operations. O2C managed and authored the publication.


ADDP 3.13 Information Operations Edition 3 2011-2012

This philosophical level publication is designed to shape the thinking of those personnel responsible for the planning and coordination of information operations and for key personnel who have responsibility for the implementation and management of information operations. Edition 2 of ADDP 3.13 was issued in 2006 and now requires review and updating to remain relevant for support to joint operations and for general ADF joint education and training. The contents include the responsibilities for targeting from operational to the national strategic level, the legal considerations and information on the deliberate, dynamic and time sensitive process. ADFP 3.14.1 Battle Damage Assessment

This application level publication describes the nature and scope of joint and combined procedures used for effective BDA in support of ADF operations. The contents include the procedures for conducting BDA in support of the ADF targeting process, the coordination and analytical efforts of relevant organisations, and the flow of BDA information. ADFP 3.14.2 Targeting Procedures

This application level publication describes the techniques and procedures of the joint targeting cycle. The contents include the responsibilities for targeting at the operational level, the legal considerations and information on the planning of targeting within the joint force area of operations. LWD 0-1-3 Military Police

This application level publication describes the nature and scope of military police support to operations throughout the spectrum of conflict. The contents include principles of employment, capabilities and effects, command and control, tactics in various types of operations and interoperability considerations. O2C managed and authored the publication.


LWD 1-2 Combat Health Support

This is an all-corps publication which provides an application level reference to commanders and staff on principal aspects in the provision of combat health services to support land operations including a coalition or multi-national setting. The contents include guidance to enable planning and execution of health service support plans in support of land operations, including coalition operations; the considerations and planning factors of health services in the battlespace, command, control and planning; the law of armed conflict; and the roles, tasks and responsibilities for combat health support at unit, brigade and force level. LWP-G 0-1-10 Military Police Tactics, Techniques and Procedures

This procedural level publication describes the tactics, techniques and procedures used by military police to support operations throughout the spectrum of conflict. The contents include the roles and functions of military police, deployment considerations, C3, police information and criminal intelligence and records and reports. LWD 2-1 Intelligence Staff Functions

This application level publication provides functional doctrine on the intelligence staff function in a headquarters. The contents include intelligence staff organisation, command and control of intelligence staff work, intelligence staff responsibilities in the intelligence preparation and monitoring of the battlespace, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance battlespace operating system planning; and intelligence staff support to targeting. LWD 2-2 Intelligence Activities

This application level publication provides guidance to personnel on the conduct of intelligence support. The contents include an overview of the types of intelligence support, command and control, planning considerations, the employment of the intelligence support element, and the tasks associated with a range of intelligence groups. This application level publication outlines the capabilities and effects of the artillery, ground based air defence, and surveillance and target acquisition systems with a focus on land operations. LWP-G 3-6-2 Engineer Intelligence

This procedural level publication provides guidance on engineer intelligence and its contribution to facilitate effective military engineer support to operations. The contents include principles and characteristics, responsibilities at relevant levels, the engineer intelligence cycle, the EBA, and terrain analysis. O2C managed and authored the publication.


LWP-G 7-3-1 Australian Defence Force Range Orders (Land) Volume 1

This procedural level publication provide all users of Australian Defence Force ranges with the range orders and directions required for the safe and effective conduct of all range practices and training using live ammunition in order to prepare personnel to operate weapon systems in a combat team that includes Land or Joint elements.This volume includes information on range safety, planning and conduct, templates and traces, and orders for all range users. LWP-MP 3-8-1 Close Personal Protection

This specialist Corps doctrine details the capabilities of the close personal protection team in providing support to the Army. The publications covers principles of employment, capabilities, effects, organisation, command and control and also relevant techniques and procedures associated with the conduct of close personal protection.
