Aim: This course provides an overview of workplace mental health issues. Workplace stress is emerging as a major cause of physical and mental health problems. One in five Australian adults experience some form of mental illness each year. Understanding the causes and effects of workplace stress and mental illness provides a platform to produce an environment that counters these challenges. Participants are introduced to a methodology to develop a resilient organisation and also skills to promote a healthy workplace environment.

Audience: Middle level managers responsible for the environment and workplace of their staff.
