Aim: This introductory course develops an understanding of the key aspects of team building. Many organisations create teams to tackle projects, overcome work challenges and build better futures. Yet how many people actually understand the mechanics or aspects of teams? This course enables participants to understand their role, strengths and capabilities within a team setting. They will also develop an awareness of team communication, how to build trust and how emotions contribute to teams.

Audience: Newly created teams at all levels.

• Understand their capability within a team setting
• Understand others capabilities within a team environment
• Understand the pressures of working within groups
• Identify the elements of trust and how to implement this within their own workplace
• Identify the patterns of group communication
• Be able to implement strategies of inclusion when working in teams
• Develop skills for building teams within the workplace
• Understand the building blocks of effective teams

Duration:1 day with follow up sessions available
