Aim: This seminar provides staff with an understanding of matters relating to harassment, discrimination and workplace bullying. Participants gain an overview of the relevant legislation, the roles and responsibilities of staff and the resolution process in relation to these issues.

Audience: All staff.

Outcomes:

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of staff in relation to equity and diversity issues within the workplace
  • Identify the difference between harassment, discrimination and workplace bullying
  • Understand acceptable and unacceptable behaviours
  • Identify the resources and mechanisms available to support staff in relation to equity and diversity issues and complaints
