Diversity officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide advice and support to a complainant,
respondent or manager concerning workplace equity and diversity issues. Participants consider via case studies
and role plays the role and responsibilities of the Equity and Diversity officer.

Equity and Diversity Officer.
Outcomes:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of the Equity and Diversity Officer
- Identify harassment, discrimination and workplace bullying
- Explain the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behaviours
- Provide support to the complainant, respondent or manager as necessary
- Identify and advise on the resources and mechanisms available to support the complainant, respondent or manager
- Understand the resolution process and resolution options
