O2C - Building successful and resilient people, leaders, and organisations

>> About Us

Charles

Charles

I have been described as patient, calm and easy to understand. I bring practical knowledge and wisdom to situations. I am open and sensitive to people and make sure no-one gets left behind. I am also very comfortable in taking charge in unfamiliar circumstances.

I need to improve celebrating my successes in the world. I also need to slow down at times and not underestimate my own capacities.

I get significant meaning from my life in O2C due to the personal connections I make with people and from the demonstrable difference our products and services make to people. If we can build strength into people and organisations they can grow to their greatest potential.

My most recent memorable achievement was as part of the victorious ACT Masters Australian Rules Team which won the 2007 Super Rules Division 2 National Title in Sydney. This was achieved with wins over South Australia, Victoria Country, and New South Wales. I also enjoy my role as the president of the ACT Junior Chess League and am committed to furthering chess in Australia as a sport.

I would like my epitaph to be “I led an interesting life”.

Lara

I am always willing to take charge of unfamiliar situations and have been described as energetic with a 'get up and go' attitude.

I am an excellent communicator of complex facts and situations to all levels of an organisation. My detailed knowledge of surveys and report writing is used to ensure clients understand the measurable differences our products make to their workplace. I am also able to provide clients with comprehensive utilitarian policy and procedure documentation.

I am completing my PhD in mental health and am the author of "Postnatal Depression: Families in Turmoil", which I penned following my personal experience with postnatal depression after the birth of my son, Joshua . I have also authored and co-authored a wide range of other material covering wildlife ecology, mental health issues, resilience, emotional intelligence and chess.

I am a parent representative on the Alfred Deakin High School Board and have developed a true appreciation of the dedication and hard work of teachers in the public education system in Canberra. A passionate Mamma Mia fan, I also enjoy running with my dog Jessie, boogie boarding and fishing - not necessarily in that order. Currently, I am working up the courage to try hang-gliding, something I have been keen to try for many years.

Nyssa has developed a range of functional, attractive and inventive web based solutions for clients and extended this into the provision of associated marketing material such as business cards, fliers, pamphlets and paper adverts. She possesses excellent organisational skills and supervises all the IT requirements relating to our training and facilitation as well as managing various supporting back end administration and databases.

Nyssa enjoys reading - favourites at the moment being George R. R. Martin, and anything by Neil Gaiman. She is also a religious fan of Doctor Who (original and new series) and the remake of Battlestar Galactica. But don't call her a nerd. "Geek" is a more appropriate term.

Steve

My friends describe me as a positive force, a confident leader and explorer. I imbue others with confidence and belief whatever the situation. I am encouraging and supportive of people attempting to transform or do something they are unfamiliar with. I am viewed as a protector of those less fortunate than myself and I see the beauty in many things.

My opportunities lie in opening my heart to the world around me and ensuring I conserve some energy for myself when helping others.

I am extremely passionate about O2C. O2C provides me the freedom and scope to help others discover themselves and for me to investigate the world. I see O2C brings people both chaos and order and these are necessary aspects in the transformation process. I am passionate about watching people and organisations create brighter futures.

As a futures focused person, I look forward to running a marathon in 2 hours 59 minutes and thoroughly enjoy the experience of training for such challenges. I am also actively involved with the Australian Defence Force Academy Graduates Association as the Chair of the committee.

I want people to recognise my unique contribution to their lives and to feel in their hearts that I made a difference to their lives. My gift to this earth is to help others. My epitaph will be written in the hearts of people.

Tracey

Tracey

I have always had a fascination for the way we develop as human beings and this has been a driver for my extensive career in education and personal development. Working with people to create the changes they desire is my passion.

As a member of the O2C team, I create and facilitate workshops and coach individuals. I love to take new ideas and concepts, and bring them to life through engaging, interactive and relevant experiences.

I have a love of the arts, and enjoy working with my hands on many creative projects, occasionally finishing some. I have a belief in the importance of community and spend time nurturing and creating this for myself, my family and for other families. My yoga practice allows me to revel in all of the joys of balancing career, family and community.
