Situation DCO provide services to Defence concerning welfare of Defence families and staff. These services include personal support, assistance for moving families and help in times of stress and crises. DCO identified the need to review internal processes.
Challenge To review DCO internal processes and identify viable, accurate and effective alternatives for procedures such as NOTICAS, FATALCAS etc.
Response We provided a business process expert to consult with DCO national level staff. During this consultation, the processes to be considered were:
  • Management of FATALCAS situations
  • Seriously Ill Australians
  • Wills Management
  • Commission of Inquiry
Outcome The consultancy provided DCO with effective processes in the variety of procedures that they use to provide support to their clients.
