Response As part of their back to base annual induction program ACTEWAGL engaged O2C to conduct a series of workshops looking at two topics - Coping with Stress and Personal Resilience. The Coping with Stress workshop was delivered over a 1½ hour session with the Personal Resilience Seminar over a 2 hour duration.

The outcomes of this seminar include:
  • What are the signs of stress
  • How does stress affect us physically, emotionally and mentally
  • Understanding the impact of stress
  • Examine ways you can overcome and change your patterns of behaviour that will assist in decreasing stress.
Outcome Participants received information on the nature of stress and resilience. Additionally they undertook experiential activities which identified their own key stressors and their individual resilience factors. They also undertook a takeaway activity which could be implemented in the workplace and personally.
